"Mr. Cheung's ESL has changed my life, he helped me to build up correct learning attitudes, let me know that attitudes is always the key to a successful learning."
-- Dong Xiang, 24 May 2013, a previous 9th grader in my ESL class at previous school, was planning to go to the United States for tertiary education.
The previous school that I have served at was like a brand in the region, many local schools in Daegu, South Korea wanted to have the school teachers there to support their ESL (English as Second language) programs.
With my previous school's recommendation, I used to be part of this, from 6 to 31 May, 2013, at a local school called Jimyo Elementary School.
Also, with the kind permission from the current Principal of Jimyo, I was allowed to upload the teaching and learning data here. All the data here are ONLY for sharing in teaching and learning, they are protected by the relevant regulations and it is a MUST to consult with me first shall you wish to use any info within for any purposes. I WILL NOT negotiate with any unlawful accesses and / or exposures!

Students
They were all diligent, some of them were fluent speakers, overall I was very impressed with my first ESL class, and I know I will miss them! They were working on creative writing, each of them was asked to write a short story and then perform it as the end product. BTW, these photos were permitted to be uploaded by my students.
Farewell
27 May 2013 was the last day of this course, my students have organized a mini-farewell party for me, I was really moved -- thank you, folks! I will miss you all and was so proud of having you in my first ESL class in Korea.

A reference letter provided by the school
Ms. Choi, one of the contact persons there, has observed my class and very generously offered me the school's recognition. Since my last name, Cheung, was often pronounced as "Chung" in Korean, I've decided to let it flow as it is.
